Guam Family Photography – Dad has been gone for a full month now which means things have been a little more complicated than normal. Our routines have been rewritten and if something needs to be done, I’m the one who has to get it done. This includes baths. Since Silas was born 7.5 years ago, bath time has always been Steve’s thing. I nursed the babies and kept them alive during the day and he spent time with them in the evenings when he came home from work and then got them ready for bed.

I was kind of dreading one.more.thing. to have to do while he’s gone, but bath time has actually been a wonderful break for me. I trained taught the boys how to wash their hair and bodies correctly and all I have to do is make sure they’re fully rinsed off. Easy peasy. So bath time really means that I know where the kids are, I know what they’re doing, and I can breathe for 10 minutes and then clean up the ocean of water they end up dumping on the floor.

When you’re done here, be sure to check out Salt Lake City lifestyle photographer Kristi and her post for May!
