Heading Home – Tacoma Fresh 48 Photography

It was a cold and gloomy June afternoon in Tacoma when I went to visit baby Grace and her family at the hospital. Born the night before, Grace was welcomed into the world by mom, dad and big brother, Cole. Well actually, Cole had a bit of a hard time seeing his parents in the hospital with a new little baby taking up their attention. Luckily, there was a present, a soccer ball, from Grace to Cole and as you can see, it was enough to make him break out in a smile and give her a kiss. I’m so glad that this family invited me in to document such an intimate moment in their lives, that brief time after the birth of their daughter and before they had to share her with the world. Shortly after the session ended, they left their quiet, secluded hospital room and headed home. I’ve heard that Cole is absolutely smitten with Grace now.
